The Kyoto International Conference Hall (K.I.C.H.) is located in the north of Kyoto city, near the Takaraka-ike lake and Hiei mountain. It is only 20 minutes and 15 minites by subway from Kyoto Railway Station and the center of downtown Kyoto. The Kyoto International Conference Hall has long history to host many international meetings, and you will fine full of meeting facilities.

The most convenient means of transportation is to take a direct flight to the Kansai International Airport.

Access to Kyoto

From Kansai International Airport to Kyoto:

  • Board JR Airport Limited Express Train, HARUKA, which runs every 30 minutes. The traveling time to Kyoto JR Station is approximately 75 minutes. Fare is 3,490 yen (2nd class, or standard class) and 4,730 yen (1st class, or GREEN-CAR).
  • Limousine bus, which runs every 30-60 minutes. The traveling time to Kyoto JR Staion is approximately 105 minutes.

From Narita Intarnational Airport to Kyoto:

  • Narita Express (NEX) from Narita to Tokyo. It runs every 30min and takes about 60 minutes. "Shinkansen" bullet train "Nozomi" (or "Hikari") from Tokyo to Kyoto. It runs every 15-30 munutes and takes 140 minutes (160 "Hikari"). Fare from Narita to Kyoto is around 17,000 yen in total.

From Osaka/Itami Airport to Kyoto:

  • Limousine bus, which runs every 15-30 minutes. The traveling time to Kyoto JR Staion is approximately 55 minutes.

From Kyoto Station to KICH:

  • Direct subway trains (Karasuma line) run frequently between Kyoto JR station and the Kyoto International Conference Hall. KICH is directly connected to the terminal of the subway line. The fare is 260 yen.
