The December 2010 IVOA Interoperability meeting will be hosted by the National Astronomical Observaory of Japan, in Nara, Japan. The meeting will take place at the Nara Prefecture New Public Hall, located in the center of the Nara national park. Nara was the capital of Japan from 710 to 784, therefore it has many historical shrines and temples containing national treasures.
